While we recently witnessed her sharing screen space as Venkatesh Daggubati's wife in the Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Bhumika Chawla also possesses an impressive repertoire in South cinema. The actress has collaborated with some of the industry's biggest stars, including Mahesh Babu, Thalapathy Vijay, Suriya, Jr NTR, and others. As fans re-released one of the most prominent action entertainers that brought Jr NTR and S.S. Rajamouli together, Simhadri, in honor of the RRR actor's birthday, Bhumika Chawla, one of the leading ladies in the film, expressed her plans to watch it again on the big screen, sharing her excitement with Bollywood Hungama.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bhumika Chawla expressed her enthusiasm for the re-release of Simhadri, stating, "If I have the time, I would definitely love to watch it in theaters." She also reminisced about her past experiences of watching her films that were re-released, mentioning her attendance at the screening of Okkadu (2003) starring Mahesh Babu. Bhumika added, "When Khushi re-released, I was in the US, so I couldn't attend. However, I watched the reaction videos that were made and witnessed the euphoria that people had. It was a beautiful sight."

In addition to that, Bhumika further shared her experiences of the frenzy surrounding the re-release of blockbusters, stating, "It warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face. It's incredible to see that even after two decades, people are watching the film and the excitement is still alive."

For those unfamiliar, Simhadri is an action drama film that features Jr NTR in the main role, with Ankitha Jhaveri also playing one of the leading ladies. The movie also includes actors like Mukesh Rishi, Nassar, Rahul Dev, and others, and it was initially released on July 9, 2003. It was subsequently remade in different languages such as Kannada, Tamil, and Bengali.
