#Zakir Hussain Rose Garden:-
Zakir Hussain Rose Garden is a botanical garden. It is spread over 30 acres of land with 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species.
Named after India’s former president, zakir hussain and created in 1967 under the guidance of Mohinder Singh Randhawa, Chandigarh’s first chief commissioner .
Apart from serving as a host of other events, Zakir Rose Garden serves as the venue for hosting an annual rose festival called rose festival, a major cultural event in Chandigarh during February or march.
#SUKHNA LAKE:-
Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas. This 3km2 rainfed lake was created in the 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik hills. Originally, the seasonal flow entered the lake directly causing heavy sitation.
#JAPANEESE GARDEN:-
Japanese garden is a park located in sector 31 in the union territory of Chandigarh. Built in 2014 on 13 acres of land by Indian govt.
It consists of water bodies, water falls etc.
There also exists a meditation centre and a Buddha idol and golden bamboos.
